Past History Trivia: Lamont & Travis Wednesday, November 9, 2005 - 01:33 PM The last time Travis Simmons competed against Lamont Ferguson in the Seattle International Comedy Competition, he lost by 2/100ths of a point. This time, Travis found himself in the exact same place, but he was squeezed out by Lamont by only 1/100th of a point. This contest is so competitive that it gets down to hundredths and even thousandths of a point. One aspect of this contest that is so difficult is that all of the comics are funny. It's just a shame that we only get to take five comics from each round into the semi-finals to see what they can do with a longer set. |
