Lamar Williams is a native of Rochester, NY, where he attended Brockport College graduating with a degree in Communications. Beginning as a hobby in College, Lamar spent his leisure time performing at amateur nights at the local comedy club. The connection between Lamar and an audience was evident from the start. It wasn’t long before he was working clubs and colleges across the country and creating quite a buzz in the industry. As one of the Club Comic Picks for the “Laugh Across America” comedy contest, he was chosen to attend the “2004 Las Vegas Comedy Festival,” and the “Boston Comedy Festival” the following year. As one of the youngest rising stars on the comedy scene today Lamar was selected for “Comics on Duty," where he toured military bases entertaining the troops in Iraq. |
