With the Columbia Theater closed for renovation, we performed last night at the beautiful Wollenberg Auditorium at the Rose Center on the campus of Lower Columbia College.
I haven't seen the pictures yet, but I hope we got some that convey just how amazing this show looked.
It sounded great, too. We think it's possible that some people might have stayed away because no alcohol was served, but that was probably for the better. Like most not-drunk audiences, this one was incredibly responsive and enthusiastic from the very beginning (comic Derick Lengwenus went up first, finished 3rd for the night. That says a lot).
When all was said and done, 2 more comedians, Curt Sudden and Mike Cummings, cracked the "top 5" for the first time.
