Ahmed Bharoocha was born in Santa Barbara, CA. He was born into a Irish Catholic, Pakistani Muslim household. Ahmed discovered his passion for entertaining as a child.

Ahmed, his older sister and his best friend would put on plays and make short films. Ahmed and his family moved to the East Coast when he was in high school. It was here that he started his career in stand up in 2004. Since then he has become a favorite in the Boston Comedy Scene and has performed with National headliners such as Louis C.K. and Aziz Ansari. He was selected by Eddie Brill to perform in the 2009 Great American Comedy Festival. In 2009 he was also in the Boston Comedy Festival. In 2007 he was a winner of the Catch a New Rising Star competition. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2008 with a BFA in Acting. Over the past few years Ahmed has been in many student films and College Theater productions as well as written and directed short plays and films. In 2005 Ahmed traveled with his older sister Maureen Bharoocha to Pakistan and filmed "Abajee". "Abajee" has gone on to win several awards in film festivals all over the world, such as Best Actor in the Jordan Film Festival.

Ahmed and his sister are currently writing a TV pilot based on their childhood. Ahmed also performs
with “Unexpected Company” one of Rhode Islands top improv groups. "Unexpected Comedy" has performed in many Improv festivals such as the Del Close Marathon in New York City.
