SICC-33: Did We Do A Show At An Improv Theatre Near the Gum Wall? Yes…and???

Another first – the Seattle International Comedy Competition visits Seattle’s Market Theater, home of improv geniuses Unexpected Productions and TheatreSports. Our first time there – and their first stand-up show, thanks to a collaboration between Competition Producer Ron Reid and UP Managing Director Jay Hitt.

The Market has been recently renovated, with an expanded lobby and bar, and new seats. With cup holders! And what a location. Gum Wall. Alibi Room. Nuff said.

Very sophisticated downtown audience, fueled by the nightly specials of $4 Fireball shots and $3 PBR tallboys. And they stayed to the very end, which was pretty late due to the 8:30 start time + an intermission, entertained by SF Comedy Competition runner-up Mike Merryfield whilst the production team added the scores. The results?
