This was the 3rd year we visited The Columbia Center for the Performing Arts, one of the great old theaters in the Northwest. It seemed really different than previous trips, mostly because of the great weather. It was undoubtedly still in the 60's at show time, a rarity for November in this part of the world. It was bitter cold the first time, and last year the weather was what our staffer Peter Greyy refers to as "biblical."
Things were kinda hot inside as well, as 500+ audience members were rocking from the get-go and stayed that way right through the 16th comic. Even beyond, as MC Ron Osborne, a former winner, kept 'em laughing hard as we tabulated the scores. Oh, yeah, you probably want to know who placed, huh? Well, we welcomed two new members to the "Score High Club" - Darren Frost (4) and Greg Reid (5). So, after 4 nights, 13 of the 16 contestants have finished in the Top 5 at least once. That's parity, my friends.
