Geoff Lott is the kind of comedian you can bring home to your parents, no matter how screwed-up they are. Born and raised in Washington State, Geoff has a sunny outlook with a slight chance of pain. With material ranging from Public Education and Diet Pills, to lighter fare such as Law-making and Alien Evolution, Geoff’s jokes, stories, and comedy are as funny as they are smart.
“My act is based almost entirely on my opinions of the world, important things like turn signals and not letting your kids smoke in public” Geoff says. “I write constantly, and rarely go by a script, which is either refreshing or irresponsible. I would rather challenge myself to take something funny and make it a hundred times funnier, which is the most-more funny a joke can be made. Basically, I do the kind of comedy I want to be remembered for: Funny, smart, and opinionated.”
With over 800 shows since 2003, you will always get a mix of finely-tuned material and spontaneous combustion. After numerous tours, ranging from truck stops to therapist couches to theaters, there aren’t many rooms Geoff has not performed in. Recently, Geoff won a national talent search to open for the Bud Light – Maxim Magazine “Real Men Of Comedy” Tour in Seattle. Appearing in front of 1,500 at the historic Paramount Theater, Geoff warmed up the crowd with a short set that had them yelling for more. Joe Rogan (Fear Factor), the show’s headliner, remarked that “Geoff is smart and funny, which is about as much as you can ask for, unless you’re greedy.”
